He has a BS degree in Secondary Education from Georgia Southern University, and a Masters Degree from Long Island University. Jim served as an officer in the U.S. Army for 25 years. During that time, he worked with students/cadets at the United States Military Academy at West Point, the University of Alabama, and the University of Mississippi.  The Insight Training Strategy

At Insight Test Prep, we recognize that excellence requires effort and ability. We teach our students proven strategies and techniques that will boost their performance on the ACT. Additionally, we coach our students how to manage their time and improve their opportunities for success as they navigate the test.

We believe in the old saying “practice make perfect”, but we also know that we must maintain balance.  We understand that our high school students have many competing demands for their time during the academic year.  Students carry a heavy academic load, and many of the students we work with are also members of athletic teams.  As part of our program, we require students to practice the techniques we teach them by completing practice modules on their own.  The amount of work we assign will not overwhelm our students, but it will require consistent effort on their part. We will review all completed work and give students feedback on how they are doing and what they need to do to strengthen identified areas of weakness.

“My son and I would like to thank you so much for all your help and support. My son's first ACT score was 25. Under your highly efficient guidance, my son quickly learned and reached his goal of 33 in several months. It's a great improvement for my son. We really appreciate all your help.”
